so i was recently invited to witness the engagement of a friend and was wowed by the gifts that was offered to the bride-to-be... in the Dusun culture a dowry is a must in exchange for the brides hand... i mean in every culture a ring is almost compulsary right...? well i'm used to hearing gold rings at engagements going for like what... rm100-200 tops right but the one above guess how much that one cost.... uhmm i'm still thinkin if i got this one right ... rm18K or was it australian dollars18K .. yep for an engagement ring like that it could as well be the wedding ring too.... :) anyways looking forward to the wedding

Without a doubt, indeed a beautiful ring! And I'm sure it made her really happy. Would I agree to spend that amount for a ring? I don't think so! Then again, some people has plenty of dough to splurge :-)
you know the guy had no idea that he still had to pay for the food... well it wasn't really a problem for him ... i guess we were the ones shocked with the ring LOL!!!!
